The Banaybanay District Star Scouts and Twinklers proudly represented the district during the 19th Councilwide Star Holiday and Twinklersโ€™ Playday held in Baganga, Davao Oriental on March 13โ€“15, 2026.
Accompanied by six dedicated adult leaders from Looc Pt. Linao Elementary School and Banaybanay Central Elementary School, the young scouts actively participated in the different activities prepared for the event. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and scouting spirit did not only make their participation meaningful but also brought pride and honor to the district.
The Banaybanay District delegates achieved remarkable success as they garnered the following recognitions:
  • Respectful Cluster Award
  • 1st Place โ€“ Treasure Hunt
  • 2nd Place โ€“ Fantasy Night Contest
These achievements highlighted the scoutsโ€™ discipline, creativity, cooperation, and strong sense of camaraderie, making Banaybanay District proud of their outstanding performance.
The delegation would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Vanessa T. Duot, Public Schools District Supervisor, for her continued support to scouting activities. Special thanks are also extended to Lemuel Ian M. Larcia for providing transportation for the participants.
Appreciation is likewise given to Marivic I. Aranayado, District Field Adviser, and to the supportive parents for entrusting their daughters to the care and guidance of the scout leaders.
Indeed, the event was not only a venue for fun and adventure but also a meaningful opportunity for the young scouts to develop leadership, friendship, and the true spirit of scouting.
